There is a maximum cap of 100,000 miles that can be earned per card each year, which is well within reason. This limit does not apply for the other AAdvantage cards from Citibank. To add to the cost, a minimum rate of 19.99% is imposed for cash advances, regardless of any drop in the Prime Rate with which the APR is dependent on.
