Spirituality: The True Meaning Of Help

Author: Nick Arrizza, M.D.

Yes, it is true that many of us have problems that run the gamut from health concerns to planetary climate change. We often look to the Universe or to a God for help to remedy these problems. In a recent article, entitled Spirituality: Waiting For God To Rescue You?, I discuss how asking for "rescue" only further serves to keep us victims of our circumstances.

The issue then of what the true nature of help is becomes a pressing question. To provoke you into considering this I would like to put forth two scenarios and ask you to choose between them. Here they are:

1. To need an outside party to resolve your life problems for you.

2. To be able to resolve your life problems for yourself.

Of these two scenarios which makes you feel stronger, happier, better about yourself, more resilient, more capable, more confident, more energized, more successful and more fulfilled?

Well with a little consideration I think you will see that No. 2 above helps you to achieve all of this, whereas No. 1 leaves you feeling needy, weak, vulnerable, desperate, afraid, alone, inadequate, and poorly about yourself.

So if you happen to find yourself in a position of asking for "help" what kind of help do you want to ask for?

1. Help that will rescue you from your situation.

2. Help that will align itself with your inherent capability to be who you truly are, a Divine Being in your own right, so that you, not someone or something else, will affect the desired outcome for you.

So this brings us to an important issue, the meaning of the true nature of the concept of "help". You see, after all the miracles that occur regularly on this planet, the one thing that we are still stuck with, that is if we choose to be, is the fact that we still believe that we are not Divine Beings!

So that being the case what kind of help do you want to ask for?

Now I know that this will anger some religious individuals considering such a statement a form of blasphemy or something. There is a deep fear of reclaiming the awareness of our true nature here on this planet. Unfortunately that has only served to perpetuate the problems that we see around us.

If any of this resonates with you at a deeper level then you may wish to visit the web link below where I have a special audio message waiting for you.
